I have stock motor / controller on a 2009 RXV, average speed is 22MPH.

I bet your cart is 48volts and has larger tires too.... read it in one of your other posts...what size tires?

97 Workhorse, Honda GX620, CVTech clutch, Stretch header, 23" tires, 42 mph.

Stock 2004 EZGO TXT PDS motor with speed chip (73272-G01) and aftermarket tires (23), rims (14"), 6" spindle. 18mph on gps.

It is prolly scary in Es's cart with all of that pesky gas motor noise and such.

The "scare" factor really comes down to how solid the cart is in the first place. Everything is pretty much new on mine and I have 4 wheel disc brakes plus my cart is lowered so it's really not a big deal to go 40. I just did it this evening with my wife on board and she didn't look scared.

Don't get me wrong here, it still feels fast on my cart and I'd image the pucker factor would go up exponentially if the cart had a big lift and/or some worn components.
