Default marathon problems

finally installed the new pq bandit motor, and installed AUSCO AMERI-TORQUE disc brakes...the problem i am having with the motor is it seems to run faster in reverse.....if i connect the 1/2 speed reverse, it slows the whole cart down(forward and reverse) what do i need to swap to get the speed correct? and with the disc brake install, how tight should the hub nut be? i seem to be having a little drag, but not with the disc brakes. when i put the cart on jack stands. the driver side rear wheel will not turn all the time, but the passenger side kicks ***

The ezgo hubs need to be torqued to a minimum 90 max 140 Ft pounds or the axle splines will be damaged by gear lash. This is an open differential, one wheel drives. What you describe is normal.

paxdad on the Ausco disc brake kit i had to cut the original brake brackets off the axle to be able to get the kit on right. i didnt really want to but i already purchased the kit. i am still fine tuning it.

hey scottyb what about the speed problem, it seems to go faster in reverse, i have swapped the s1/s2 cables and then the fnr switch but still seems to go faster in reverse, also on the rear end what causes the wheel to have a slight wobble to it?
