Default Cart will run then stallout

I am new to the golf cart scene, I bought this used cart about a year ago. I put new batteries on it and did not have a problem with it at all while my family used it on the road where we used to live. We have moved and the area is very sandy. Now the cart will run and sometime when you stop it will not do anything when you press the accelarator. When I put it in reverse the buzzer sounds but the cart will still not go. It may run perfect for 2 or 3 days then all of the sudden this will start up and it want run. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I just now started hear this also, when you press the accelerator there is a clicking sound in the box beside the batteries, where the tow and run switch is located.

That sound is the solenoid engaging. This is a positive thing. Your problem is now narrowed down to no supply to the solenoid or no supply to the drive. Since this is an intermittent issue, I am going to guess dirty or loose connections.

Two things come to mind,
1) Make sure all your cable connections are tight, only takes one loose one.
2) Mine was doing the same thing until one day it would not go any more, just click, I had to have the motor rebuilt. All fixed now.
