Default Towed in run switch

My grand kids run the batteries down and towed the ezgo home (About A mile) They did not know about run/tow switch. What damage dit it do? The batteries were charged some (not Full) now it starts to move, then has a buzzing sound. I can stop the buzzing by switching to tow then back to run. Still do i just need to charge the batteries to full or did it do more damage?wont move. batteries Thanks guys...

For sure, check water and charge batteries! To minimize damage to batteries. Let them go a full cycle without unplugging!

We hear that story a lot, some carts survive and others do not. Charge the batteries and retry, Having to reboot the controller to clear a fault code is not a good sign. ...

I charged the batteries to full. the cart now starts to go (about 2 in. ) then it stops and starts an intermittant kinda buzz or ring. THe only way to stop the ring is to switch the run switch back to tow. I know it will not move. Did they fry the motor or controller or what? Thanks

I think Scotty was referring to having to flip the run/tow switch.
