1984 3 wheeler restoration paint problem
I've been restoring an old EzGo three wheeler over the last few months and have finally got to the point with the project where I shot it with two coats of Urethane Enamel today. Miserable results - I used a Martin Seymour quality gun metal grey urethane w/hardner metallic paint. Unfortunatly I made a rookie mistake and didn't prime the cart before shooting it. The paint job turned out great but you can see every sanding swirl I made thru the paint. I'm wondering if I can wet sand the new paint and start over again.
Anyone had any expeirence with a situation like this? Do I need to go all the way back to bare metal to repaint or can I prep the existing paint and re shoot it. Thanks- |
