DC Converter, KSI connection?

I have a 48V to 12V DC Converter with no instruction manual etc. There are four wires coming out of it.

1. Black - Common -
2. Red - Input + (48V)
3. Yellow - Output + (12V)
4. Green - KSI

I can only assume KSI is for the key switch interface, or a switch which tells the converter to turn on.

I have a 2007 Shuttle 6 with the PDS II controller. Where do I connect this wire? Does it need a full 48V to trigger the converter on? I read some post regarding a KSI input on the Curtis Controllers, can I connect there if that connection exists on my controller?
