Default Reducer wiring help

Got my 8's in

Cart is running, BIG difference as expected... BUT I can't seem to get the reducer/converter hooked up correctly. Cart "turns on" when I turn key to On solenoid clicks and it doesn't when the key is in off position.. but no lights, turn signals, etc..

I've got yellow from converter going to blue/white going into fuse panel.

Green on converter to green coming from fuse panel

Red to positive / Black negs

NO one? Bueler...

Directions state - " for older cars using a negative through key switch you must use a relay for converter activation"

this mean me? If so, what's a relay and how do I hook it up?

EDIT - added docs for Johhnie to pour over

Converter is not being turned on.

Connect the yellow wire from the converter to the Keyswitch terminal that is "hot" with battery pack voltage when Key is ON.

The blue/white wire on the Keyswitch switches 12V for the lights and if you have the 12V being fed by the converter, there isn't any 12V.

So, yellow from converter to blue or green from key switch? Based on diagrams

Doesn't apply, you have positive through Keyswitch.

Thanks for the added drawings, I noticed what might be an issue for you.

If the yellow wire (Converter remote on control) is wired through the Keyswitch, the only time the converter will be on is when Key is ON AND F/R is in either F or R.

You'll have to wire the yellow wire to B+ via a separate power switch if you don't want your accessories (Lights etc) dropping out when you shift the F/R through neutral.

Yes, if you don't mind the converted being off when F/R is in neutral.

I'm not sure which terminal on the Keyswitch to tie the yellow wire from the converter to since there is a disagreement in wire colors between the series cart schematic and the dash panel wiring diagram, but it is the one that the green wire attaches to.

Actually she smells them and I don't, which is the problem. Fortunately, my last dose of antibiotics was yesterday, so the purple cloud will soon stop following me around.

Neither SWMBO nor I can stand/walk long/far enough to be useful in soup kitchen, but we did donate some stuff.
