Re: RXV lift ????? Help
I am down there from time to time working. Sounds like an oddball hub. I wonder if they will cross reference to any of the TXT hubs? If so, let me know. I have a pile of them.

Re: RXV lift ????? Help
I found some stock hubs, these should work. I will give y'all an update when I get time to get them installed. May be out of town the rest of the week, so it may be this weekend. Hopefully the rear install will go more smoothly, I also have HD springs to install on back. Thanks for the help!!

Re: RXV lift ????? Help
There was a field recall from EZGO on RXV's with tow hooks. EZGO installed the TXT style hub and different spindles on these carts. Our lift kits are made for the original OEM hub and we haven't had any problems. We are not sure how many have been replaced but it is not any where near the amount of carts that have the OEM hubs.

Re: RXV lift ????? Help
scotty, think it is the other way around, I think the stock non tow RXVs had the 3/4 in shaft and the tow ones had the larger.. At least I thought that is what he stated..

Re: RXV lift ????? Help
Post number 2
I am almost sure that the spindle shaft to small of a diameter. The new spindle shaft is around 3/4", the orginal oem is around 15/16". Anyone else ever run into this?? I bought this kit from East Coast Carts, I will contact them in the morning and see if they have a quick fix. Hopefully, they have a different size spindle. I assume new spindle shaft in this statement was from measuring the new spindles for the lift and the oem was what he took off. |
