Default solenoid wiring

Need a little help just started installing my alltrax 4855 and solenoid confused on the wiring, is there a positive and neg on solenoid? if someone has a picture or diagram for a 2007 series ezgo thanks in advance

The solenoid isn't polarized but the diode is.

I keep trying to clarify the solenoid mystery...

Basically the solenoid has no polarity. NONE.

The only thing on the solenoid that has a polarity requirement is the diode. The banded end of the diode MUST be toward the positive activation wires...Since the posts don't care where the + or - activation wires (they are the small ones) go, where you land the + activation wire determines where the banded end of the diode goes... still confused? Leave the diode off. test drive the cart back and forth, 10 ft is as good as 50'. park it and send us a pic of your solenoid & wires. We will tell you where the banded end of the diode goes.

Ok the line on diode goes towards the 2 little red wires on small terminal
