Default Trojan 105 VS Interstate

Needing to buy some new batteries, I have two questions.
Trojan VS Interstate?
Also, when buying a set of batteries, is there anywhere that I can buy the batteries from that it is significantly cheaper or is a set of 6 a pretty standard price?

There is a significant difference in capacity and price amongst brands and models. Capacity is the most important thing to consider.

In general terms, there is more difference between the grades within the same brand than there is between the same grade in different brands.

Some brands have five grades (Amp-Hour ratings) while others have only two, so be careful to select the same grade when doing price comparisons.

Basically, select the highest Amp-Hour rating you budget can tolerate and buy that grade in the brand that has the best price (including shipping/delivery) in your area.

Here is a list of the grades within various brands that I put together when I was looking for batteries last year.
I ended up getting a relatively good price on Exide GC-145 batteries through a tractor supply store, even though they had to be specially ordered.
