Default Dana Spicer H-12 TRANS AXLE

Will the input shaft assemblie clear the intermediate gear on an H-12 electric?

I would like to change the motor and input shaft bearings to see if I can reduce whine.

Yes, pull the motor remove the C clip/snap ring holding the shaft in, and slide the input shaft out, the bearings will be on the shaft

Thanks much.

I'm chasing a whine and didn't want to tear down the whole unit.

most of the time it is the input shaft bearings or the motor bearing

Changed out the bearings still have the whine. I guess I will have to live with it. Gears looked good.
