2006 Precedent - Repair or replace?

I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent. The cart does work OK but it's not very a smooth ride and seems to jerk sharply left to right at higher speeds.

I did have the front end aligned 2 years but that does not seems to have resolved my issue. I had tires replaced 2 years and one does look slightly more worn than the other. Another issue is probably that I'm driving more on the road than on grass.

What do you think it would cost to have a dealer repair/replace all of the parts needed to have this golf cart driving as if it were brand new?

I am wondering if this would be a less expensive than selling this cart and purchasing another one.

Can you work with your hands? What I mean, if you are willing to get in there and start turning wrenches etc, it is a lot of fun. And you learn so much.

Anything that needs fixing, you can do yourself with the help of guys on this forum.

If you like the cart, don't get rid of it. Your problem is probably simple and not that expensive. It could be worn bushings, wheel bearings, tie rod etc.

The service manuals are in valuable for troubleshooting.

I had a customer that had a Yamaha cart, that did what you described. The lady was afraid to drive it. I was able to fix it, by adjusting the tie rods, they weren't even close to being the same. It was very simple.
