I agree. Been racing circle track for a long while and know that a toe problem is usually a symptom of something else wrong. Just looking at my cart, I can't see any obvious problem. Nothing looks bent or shifted. Anybody with experience with this, please post advise.

CDT ask me to chime in:

The vent/filling holes are located in the top-center of the cells, so unless the batteries were completely upside down, they most likely weren't completely empty. However, they had lost a lot of electrolyte, so you did OK by filling them with the premixed electrolyte from an auto parts store.

In general terms, during normal operation, add only distilled water since water is all the is lost during normal operation. If you tip a battery too far (or knock a hole in it) and fluid leaks out, replace the fluid with premixed electrolyte.

There are a ton of variables, so getting the SG back to normal for whatever brand/type battery it is, is tricky, but it is better to be a little on the high side than being on the low side, like what would happen if a significant amount of the lost diluted acid (electrolyte) was replaced with straight water.

A typical 8V cart battery contains someplace between 6 and 7 quarts of electrolyte (3 to 3.5 Pints/Cell), so spilling a few ounces and replacing with water wouldn't make much difference, but a cup (8 Oz) or more from a battery would weaken the battery.

I noticed in the pix that your cart has a watering system for the batteries. This may let a lot more acid spill - from one battery to another if it's on it's side. Normal caps don't leak rapidly but yours are designed to allow for filling.

The front uprights were easy to straighten but the rear required me to disassemble the seat a little. on mine, the actual part bent was the bar that the seat backs bolt to. I removed that bar, clamped it in a vice and used an old pipe to bend back to shape. When I bolted that back the rest fell back into place. My neighbors righted the cart in just a few minutes so I didn't lose any battery acid. My front end is out of alignment like yours but I haven't determined the cause. It looks as though its just toed out a bit and I could just adjust tie rod but I suspect something else has moved. Ill probably take it apart this week and figure it out. I'll post what I find later.
Thank you! very helpful information. I have a guy who fixes carts to come over soon and I will share the findings.

I removed it since I was told is a time bomb. The first friend that post in here give me an explanation why that should be removed.

Thank you :), the cart was on its side for about 30 minutes, not quite sure why only 2 (the closest to the ground) were emptied and all others no.

I find it hard to believe that the single point watering system is a time bomb. I cant imagine Club Car would continue to install these on thier carts if this was the case. The golf course i work at part time just got 70 2014 carts with the watering system. I have an 08 Precedent with the exact same watering system.
