Brake light switches
Im back to have brake light issues again (never ending). this time the brake lights don't work at all , but still have running and turn signals. looking at these switches post below , what I have read if they click there good if they don't there broke. well my still click but still questioning if there working correctly.
the way I understand it is and correct me if im wrong the underneath one works of the pedal arm to turn them on and off as you drive . now the one behind the pedal works off of the push rod coming up from underneath to turn off the lights when you use the parking brake . Is there a wiring diagram for them some where that I cant find yet ? |

Re: Brake light switches
I have used those same switches for years, in an industrial paper factory, do not believe if the click they work. I've seen hundreds click that didn't work, or would work half of the time. Do you have a continuity tester or ohm meter?

My cart is a 2000 so that switch has been there though every mud puddle , sand trap and wooded path for the last 14 years. So if i get half that out of this one i,ll be doing good
