Rebuilt motor. new batteries, not working

What voltage should I see?

Just checked continuity on all 5 micro-switches. As I press the pedal I get continuity on all 5 solenoid small terminals. We can rule my switches out. As far as I can tell the last thing to check is my F/R switch, correct? Please point me in the right direction.

Well If you get voltage across the small terminals then that should close the circuit cross the large terminals. If all of the solenoids close and allowing current to flow then you should be able to test to see if you're getting that to the controller.

I do not get voltage to small terminals, I get continuity to small terminals when pressing pedal. I now do not get continuity to first solenoid after trying some testing. I do get continuity to the other four solenoids. I think I blew out my first solenoid micro-switch and I blew out my back up buzzer. I have a rebuild kit on the way for my micro-switch box.

Red lead on the meter to any one of the small terminals, black to a negative. Pedal up and down test.

You tried this for both small terminals? So you're not getting a signal to the solenoids. Make sure your black is going directly to battery negative, start with first solenoid and go across them all, key switch should be on.
If still no power then we need to try and jumper power to energize the coils and see if your cart will take off.

Tried what you said. Nothing on all solenoids. I was sure to place black lead on negative term. of battery. As I mentioned, I do get continuity on small terminals as I press pedal. No power though.

Ok are you ready for the next step?

The closest schematic I've seen was 81, I think if you jump power (+) to the first solenoid you will see results, hopefully good results. Now you need to be careful with this one because the cart will take off if it works. When you energize that coil, the solenoid will shift (click) and send power to the motor. If everything else is well it will go. So be ready to disconnect and by all means be extra careful as to not short anything out. Make a jumper wire that you can connect on one end to the (+) and the other on the small terminal on the first solenoid. Just bump it (briefly connect the wire to the(+)) and let go. See if it moves. Use caution please.

Well after looking at the crappy schematic, I can't make out the connections to the motor and the resistor pack, I don't think it will hurt to try but I need a better diagram. You may need to jump the first and second solenoid for this test to work.

From looking at that schematic from what I can see, it is very simple set up, I just need to see better details to get power to the motor. It may be simple as the resistor pack bad, micro switches not getting power, something simple. You have a good motor, it can't be much.
