Default 06 36v Ez Go drives with key off...

Hello all
I have a 36v Ez-Go TXT was working great and still does but drives with the key off. Until a week ago the cart has worked perfect now you can drive the cart with the key in any position and the f-n-r switch in neutral. any ideas?

Sounds like a welded solenoid to me, but maybe someone smarter than me will drop by shortly.

Is the solenoid in the controller box?
I don't hear a click when I hit the pedal.... Should I be hearing a click of the solenoid?

Yes, the solenoid is under the controller cover.

What type drive system do you have?

The solenoid may be welded shut causing it to be able to drive with the key off. Mine has done that part. Driving with the fnr switch in neutral, that sounds like something else. Possibly in the switch itself. There has to be something making contact for power to get through it.

I suspect the F&R is a rocker switch on the dash?
