99 ezgo solenoid will only click rapidly

I'm reworking my 99 EZGO PDS. I put an imaganitive rear dif, curtis 1268 torque contoller and curtis sw80 solenoid. I've got everything wired up according to the direction. When I press the gas al the solenoid does is click real fast at first but stops clicking as it's pressed. I'm blinking a 1,4 code. It's troubleshooting guide says its a wiring problem. I have traced every wire and each wire is good and connected correctly. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong? Also, the company that sold it said there was no need for a resister or diode on this solenoid. Could that be the problem? I'm over my head pretty good. Any advice will be appreciated.

Did you call the company that sold you the kit and tell them you are having this problem?
