Winter Storage
Fall is upon us here in the Midwest so that means winter isn’t far behind. I followed Sergio’s build thread for the leaf pack with Chinese BMS when I put it together. Typically I store my golf cart in an enclosed trailer to free up space in the garage for winter projects, I intend to remove the pack from the cart with the cells charged to 3.7v per cell. I’m wondering what wires need to be removed from the pack to make sure there isn’t any parasitic draw down of the pack while in storage?

Re: Winter Storage
Unless you have something added to it, unplugging the BMS should remove any draws and it should have minimal voltage drop. I can disconnect the pack and unplug my BMS in the cart and a month later have almost the same pack voltage.

Re: Winter Storage
I used to leave my cart for 5 months during the summer. No issues - cells were still at almost the same voltage when I returned. I disconnected everything to prevent any discharge.
