36 Volt F/R Switch question
I have the parts manual for my cart (2004 CC DS Series), but my cart has a 36V F/R switch not the stock 48V shown in the manual. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for a 36V F/R switch that they can post?

Re: 36 Volt F/R Switch question
Thanks Stevegrmich. It does help, but it doesn't take away my confusion. Both diagrams (mine and the one that you provided) show 3 micro-switches. My cart has a 4th that is dangling just behind the F/R switch (see picture) that has 3 wires (Solid colors White, Black & Green) going into it? I'm trying to identify what the heck it is and what its for.

Re: 36 Volt F/R Switch question
I think you're right Scottyb. In my manual it shows 3. According to TahoeDawg this is a 36V F/R switch that is on my cart...cool. I see in the document that Steve provided it also shows 3. In the attached picture you can see the 3 where they should be, but if you look in the lower left of the picture you can see that bad boy hanging there. Since I have the cart apart I want to take my time and deal with whatever I find and this switch is a mystery.

Re: 36 Volt F/R Switch question
Ok so I've identified what it is...it's a Half Speed Limit Switch. Why would it just be hanging there vs. being mounted with the others? Is it because the cart didn't originally require one? The manual shows 3 micro-switches on the 48 volt F/R switch. Some of you guys have built many carts and have vast experience. Some of you are Techs and have tons of experience.
Check this out. The manual shows the 36V F/R having only 1 micro-switch referred to as "Limit Switch". Which is identical the "Anti-Arcing Limit Switch" (1 of 3) found in the manual under the 48V F/R section. Here's what my cart has, 1. 36V F/R Lever (manual shows 1 micro-switch) 2. 1 each of "Anti-Arcing" Limit Switch, "Reverse Buzzer" Limit Switch and 2 "Half Speed" Limit Switches. 1 mounted as shown in the manual (48V page) and the 1 dangling (shown in earlier pic). Anyone have any thoughts? |
