Default 3" Lift with 12" or 14" Wheels

Trying to decide between a 12" or 14" wheel set-up for my precedent.

I ordered a 3" lift kit with the intension of adding 14" wheels with lo-pro tires, but now I am debating the 14" tire thing. Would a 12" tire with lo-pros look "dumb" on a 3" lift?

Yes it will look stupid, do not get low pro tires. Ask me how I know.

Ok, how do you know? My cart is for cruising around the neighborhood and golfing. Can't run with big tread tires.

I raised the back about 3 inches and the front about one inch, had 12 inch rims and low pro tires, the rear wheel well looked huge, at the golf course some teen age kids walked by and laughed. Anyway, i ended up replacing with 12 inch rims and 20 x 10 tires on back, looks good now, i would go with the same on all 4 but i have to make sure Cart clears the trailer, so i left the fronts the way they are. My cart has a slight dragster look now.

You have any pics? So, too much extra clearance with the 12 inch wheels so go with the 14's or 12 with a larger tire. That is what I was concerned about with the 12's.

So when the kids laughed, how did you make you feel?

Did you say, "get outa kids ya bother me"?

I don't think I have pics, maybe I will take some next time I use the cart, probably tomorrow.

As far as the kids, I would have laughed too.

It doesn't make a ratsass if you have 12 or 14 inch wheels. The tires are still gonna be the same height.
