Re: Lightning strike 1993 EZGO 36-Volt XT 500 Workhorse
I finally had time late last night to finish the install by putting the diode on the solenoid, after making sure I had everything else 100% correct and everything is working as it should.
I want to thank everyone here for all of the help (especially JohnnieB) so I could decide which way to go. I am convinced the controller was the main thing that was wrong, but the new HD solenoid & updated controller and wires from ScottyB also seemed to give it a little more speed as well as torque. I really want to give Scotty an extra thanks for taking his time over the weekend walking me through any questions and problems I had with the install. After he convinced me I wasn't doing brain surgery, everything went really smooth. Kudo's to all involved with making this great forum what it is. |
