2020 Yamaha G29 D2 Spark Arrestor?
Can I remove the spark arrestor pictured here, re install the “tunnel” and bottom shield without melting anything?

And reinstall this bottom piece without melting anything?
I thought that after removing the spark arrestor it and it is redirected it might melt the plastic? |

I removed the spark arrestor on my 2018 and I've not had any trouble with any melting or anything else.

I remove them almost daily. No damage will be done, its a problem area to begin with.
