Default Re: need to replace windshield frame and rear top frame

You don't live near the salt water and the moist air. Everything I own that is metal rusts just by looking at it, including things that were stainless or chrome plated or powdercoated. The only way I can keep ahead of it is to clean and Ospho coat it, then spray with a galvanizing coat, then a Rustoleum type paint to cover it. Then repeat and repeat. On some pieces too far gone I just replace them when they disintegrate beyond repair. Keeps me busy.
