Hmm...well, lots to reply to in this thread. first, Chevy; Nice after pic...you keep it clean!!! LOL. Jon; old stuff sucks, ask me...I'm old! Pay no attention to my 89 chassis cart, or my '79 30' motor home, or my '72 chevy long bed or the fact that when I win the lottery, I'm gonna buy me a '70 Chevelle. Fact remains, they are a pain in the butt, constantly needing care and hard to find parts for mess.

...interesting, I have never gotten anything but positive comments and opinions from the members here. Thanks to everyone who has helped. I have moved on from my 1982 Marathon to my 1990 Marathon and love it, kids love it. I am good. I know the newer carts are better just like I know the newer cars are better than the older cars I drive but I am good with that. In the end that's all that matters. I have less than grand in mine and I know someone who has 6K in his.....AND I HAVE MORE BEER than he does. LOL.
Perspective, just keep things in perspective. Enjoy what you have cause we ain't gonna be here forever.

CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all have good points!! I just get a natural high working on the old stuff! And as for the one saying 300,000+ miles on a new car.....PROVE IT! My uncle, the one building the car i told yall about, is an auto mechanic, has been for about 30 years, and WILL NOT drive a new car. He works on them ALL DAY EVERY DAY! He sees all the problems they have. Everyone knows, you throw a computer in the mix, SOMETHING WILL MESS UP!! Carb it or GO HOME!!
