Yeah killer I was gonna make a shifter like the Jakes kit but just thought if it were next to me ,it would fit my needs.

you may wanna have a guard around it. the old carryalls had them mounted there as well. It seems as though one good wallop from an errant branch and your forward becomes reverse at a high rate of speed

Alrite alrite ,,,I got some good luck.my cart 002.jpg And yes I used the fork . If you look at the shaft you see a shiny spot between the clutch and the engine case.Thats an aluminum spacer with a cut in it . Just bent the aluminum spacer out and slid the fork down in and wala 1 small strike and it moved . Of course its also been dowsed in P.B. all night . Now to break out the alum. welder.

One other thing, now with that big ol bunch of weld on there the clutch is no longer balanced. I hope that dosen't create a big vibration and wear the bearings in the engine prematurely....
