Default Harley cart 1979

well, i have this 1979 amc/HD cart and we use is at norwalk race track, so im running this cart for long distances and having overheating problems. So im asking anyone if they have fixed this problem? Maybe theirs a jetting to get more fuel or air/fuel adjustment for the (high rpm) range. I also want to add i did a complete rebuild to this engine reed valve and bearings seals piston. etc. i did not touch the carb. so im probably just shooting my self in the foot.

That's happened to me twice now. Those fans get brittle over time. I try to keep at least one in stock as back-up but they are increasingly hard to find.
