wiring diagram 90 2 stroke ezgo
great forum- We just picked up this 90 ezgo for a pit cart . and it has been sitting a while - not much history on it - so i have figured out some basics( reversing single cyl 2 stroke )"kind of neat when it first hits you that it CAN work" but i think that the direction selector(forw/neu/rev) is bad - if any one has accurate wiring diagrams for a model this old it would be appreciated Thanks |

Re: wiring diagram 90 2 stroke ezgo
Turns out i could have saved myself some diag time if i checked the compression after i got the electrical squared away - I ended up with dry compression of 65 psi and a wet of only 90 psi - pulled intake /exhaust and head then the cylinder "jug " and found a badly scored piston with stuck rings
are there performance big bore kits out there or is it wiser to keep these 2 strokes stock bore- does porting do any good on these? It is nice how easy these come apart compared to todays cars . Any more help will be greatly appreciated - I am not giving up on this cart its going to get some paint while its torn down and the front will get a push bar setup to move our car through the pits ;and since i dont let my wife put racing stickers on her car we will be putting afew on the cart once it matches her car color Burt |

Re: wiring diagram 90 2 stroke ezgo
I am notsure if it will make a difference as far as going large on the bore. There are kits available with the piston sized stock and a couple of sizes larger. You can get the whole jug piston set and even get it with the crank if you need it. Depends on how many bones you wanna throw at it. When my 89 finally dies I will go with the whole kit.....more $$$ but I will be satisfied knowing it is all new.
