Question Customizing a G1, what rear seats will fit?

What folding rear seats will fit?

I know that no aftermarket companies love these little buggies, so I'm doing pretty much all myself, fabbing, using parts from salvage yard, etc... If I can figure out how, I will attach some pics. But I definitely want folding rear seats that give me a bed to carry stuff when I need.

I have seen pics of the g1 with them and just want to know what might work. Or does everyone make their own ?

Any help appreciated!

I don't know of a folding rear seat that works for the G1 because the problem with the G1 is that the rear body section flips up and back for maintenance. Mounting a folding seat kit on there will make it heavy and much harder to lift and it might unfold when you lift it. I'm sure if you're good at fabrication you can figure it out.

What I did is mount a utility bed on the back, then just use some cushions to sit on. This is what I currently do, wife and kids will actually sit on there.

boat seats.

I put two boat seats on the back and secured them to the cross member underneath the back. The edge does hang over a bit so it is only secured with two bolts but they aren't moving anywhere.
