Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
tomorrow i will hopefully finish the throttle linkage problem i had, then i will lower the golf cart back down and will start to figure out how i will mount the motor and trans
i'm going to cut off the mounts for the swing arm from the current axle because the have the spring mounts i may change my mind about this though i'm probably going to have to lower the swing arm a good couple of inches so that the motor will fit under the seat and have room to swing, b/c this motor is pretty tall i still need to get an ecu wire harness T-BAP sensor radiator oil and filter air filter secondary clutch and a belt a few other small things i think i got a exhaust for it last week at my local Goodwill for $10 its for a Harley Davidson FSX 1450 motorcycle so this thing is going to rumble more exciting pics to come of the motor/ trans mounting to come |

Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
the motor is going to have to sit 5" below the bottom side of the swing arm
so that i can have enough clearance i will also have to extend and heighten the mounting points on the swing arm it self the motor stands about 20" tall and i wanted 4" of clearance between it and the seat so i have to mount it like i said above i will get pics tomorrow to better explain this |
