My limited experience with a 2 stroke engine muffler was I plugged one end turned it up and poured it full of some old carb cleaner I had and let it set for 24 hours. Drained the carb cleaner out then took a power washer and run soapy water through it until it was coming out clean, took a while for this to be though. Put it back on the suzuki 50cc mini bike and the kids rode it until they were too big to fit on it, gave it to a friend and his nephew rode it then until he was too big to fit on it. Not a one of these kids took any mercy on that thing and last I heard it was still running fine. I bought it with a plugged muffler
