Default switch for voltage reducer

Finished wiring in my reducer and connecting all accessories last weekend. I think the reducer is drawing a small charge even when key switch is off. I would like to put a simple toggle switch between battery pack and reducer. Cannot find any 48v switches and was curious if a 12v rated at 30 amps would do.

Use a 48v relay like for a charger, trigger the relay with the key switch.

looks like there are 4 terminals. Supply and Switch power in and Supply and switch power out? Is this correct?

I have ordered the same relay as pictured. Does anyone have the wiring diagram to distinguish which is in and out for the terminals?

Put in the relay but it only produces 8 volts from reducer instead of previous 12.8. I have checked and it has 48v going in. When I take off the relay I get the 12.8 volts. Any ideas?

The relays usually have a little diagram on the side or bottom... what is the relay identification maybe we can find it on the web? What is the relay id #?

I would have to go look at mine to see how it is wired. It's dark out now, Shoot me an email and I'll look in the AM.

Possibly somebody could find the information you need on the web? If not I will be happy to look tomorrow.

Wired up the relay again and it is 48v power side and 16.8 out switch side. I was mistaken when I said it had 48v out on switch side.
