'BEFORE' Pictures... and a couple of questions.
Here are the As-Is carts I bought:
1985 EZGO gas. I am installing a rebuilt engine. I will paint this cart and sell it. The KEEPER 1995 Club Car gas Now for questions... 1. What engine is standard in the Club Car? 2. Can I change the wheels/tires to a 10" wheel and low profile tires without a lift kit? Thanks, Michael~ |

92 thru 96 Club Cars have the fe350 engine. Someone called these the "good years" for Club Cars. I had one originally in my 94 and I liked it alot. Got almost 30 mph with it.

I thought they had the fe290? You can tell size by the sticker that will be on the plastic on the driverside cover on the engine. You can run up to a 20 inch tire as far as I know(I am ) without problems. rim size soes not matter.

I have 10" rims and 205x50x10 radials on my 96 gasser. No lift kit required. Fits like the originals. Just looks better!!

Re: 'BEFORE' Pictures... and a couple of questions.
they will not rub the frame on my 93. they do SLIGHTLY rub the body though. it has worn about an eigth of an inch from the inside lip on the cowl. you would not know it if i hadn' pointed it out. plu my wife and I are fairly heavy, so I am sure it puts extra strain on the front end suspension.
I do have hd leafs in the rear and a 2 inch extension plate in the front. They did not rub the frame before teh plate though, I did it more for looks and to push the front end out for a bit better ride. -Aaron (not my trailer!) |
