Default Re: Wiring for Voltage Reducer/New Key Switch

We are on the same page as far as the switch wiring, however, I do not have stock wiring due to the fact I installed a Reverse Contactor, New Controller, and HD Solenoid. Here is how the relative wires are connected:

The small red wire from charger receptacle connects to the small blue wire that went to my old key switch. The small green wire from my old key switch connects to the green wire from my throttle.

This being said, would I still proceed with the same wiring instructions you provided? Are there any other wires you should specifically know about?

I would just wire it as in post #17 using the existing wires (Blue and Green).

The additional wire runs were to overcome the limitation of the FNR being before the key switch, which is no longer your case.

Sergio - I have the reducer connected And the blue and green wires connected per post #17.

I am getting +12v between main batt - and positive spade terminal on fuse block when checking w a multimeter.

Here is the problem now - I have a "deluxe" lighting kit, which has all things such as head lights, tail lights, turn signal and horn connected and prewired as a kit. When I take the + and - from light kit and plug directly to 12v on battery, everything works. When I have it connected to the reducer, it doesn't work.

I have the + from light kit connected to positive spade on fuse block. I have the - going to a buss bar.

I also confirmed that I have +12v from main batt - and the positive spade terminal that the lights connect to, so I can't figure out what the issue is.

Do I have the light kit connected improperly to the reducer/fuse box?

It appears that You don't have the negative buss bar connected to the main negative.
