2006 Gas Club Car DS Runs, Clutch Spins but belt doesn't move

Hey All,

I have a 2006 Gas Club Car DS. It runs but won't move in forward or reverse. The clutch spins but the belt does not move neither does the cart.

When you say it runs, are you sure it's not just the electric starter/generator cycling the motor? Maybe it's not really starting.

Thank you for the response. You are correct. It actually is not running. I checked the spark plug and it has spark. Is there anything else special I should check for? It was running fine and then just suddenly stopped.

check for fuel also, take the fuel line off at the carb and turn over the engine. Fuel should start pouring out when you turn it over. If it does, id do a compression test then. compression should be over 130psi, but generally anything over 100psi should still run. Just make sure you have the three things needed for combustion-Fuel, spark, and compression.

Just checked for fuel, it is not getting any fuel.
