Default Battery not charging 2001 gas

We have 2001 gas clubcar, have recently replaced battery, had starter/alternator tested and disconnected lights trying to figure out why battery is going dead after driven for period of time. Can anyone help with this issue. On a bench test of starter/alternator only slowing 2 volts. Checking voltage at battery during full power and it shows 12.45 volts on multimeter.

its not charging- voltage regulator is most common failure

A fully charged battery should read 12.6V or higher. Your battery is about 75% charged.
What do you mean at full power, with the engine running?
Put the battery on an external charger to fully charge it up, then get it load tested, it possibly could be bad. Or measure the voltage the next day, it should not drop.
If it does, either the battery is bad or you have a current leak somewhere draining the battery. To check for a current drain, disconnect the negative battery lead (ground cable) from the battery terminal, and with your meter set to Amps, connect between the ground cable and the negative battery post. There should be no current (amps) measured, but if there is, the amount on the meter is the current drain and then you will have to start disconnecting things one at a time until you find the source.
If there is no current drain and the battery is good, then the next step would be the voltage regulator.
