Default Questions on Plowmans Kit on Yamaha EFI Cart

Hi all,

I upgraded a G16 with Plowmans Kit a couple years ago and WOW...awesome difference. Even did another friends cart when he was impressed with mine. But for other reasons, we picked up a new 2016 Yamaha Adventurer 2+2 EFI and immediately swapped in the air filter for some noteworthy acceleration gains...it appears the ECM is able to compensate for the extra air with more fuel?

My big question though is how is the secondary clutch upgrade is performed on this cart....I noticed on the website that the secondary clutch has to be sent in? Does this mean he installs the spring, or what exactly does he modify? I'd really just be looking to improve acceleration when we have four adults on the cart.

Default Re: Questions on Plowmans Kit on Yamaha EFI Cart

Well, no input on this one yet...I've got a call into Don to see what he advises. I'm thinking about going ahead with the whole secondary clutch and belt setup, and I'll post my impressions on the kit on the Adventurer Sport 2+2 soon.

Any thoughts on the value of wheel spacers with the stock 2" lift?
