G29 questions
Just bought a 2009 yamaha drive. Have a few questions; Can I increase the speed on it? I guess its set to go about 12 MPH. I'd like to at least get it up to 15 MPH or so. Second question is about how loud it is. Would the muffler gasket being replaced quiet it down some? Thanks in advance.

Re: G29 questions
Remove muffler, check it for cracks, they did have an issue for a while. If it's not broken, replace the gasket.

Re: G29 questions
Will do. If it’s cracked, can it be welded or does it mean a new muffler?

Re: G29 questions
That cart in stock form will do much better than 12. Look on top of the transaxle for a spring attached to a threaded rod. You can either tighten that nut or put a zip tie around the assembly to pull it tighter. Mine is just at 20mph with a zip tie. I do have a speed spring on the way however.. That should get some more out it but not going to the max. Just not good for it IMO.
