G1 Rear/Transaxle swap? G2, G9 or G16?
Swapping my G1 and was wondering if any Gas G2, G9 or G16 transaxle will work? Or is it only a G2?

Re: G1 Rear/Transaxle swap? G2, G9 or G16?
G2 and G9 are the same, those are the ones you want. These transaxles are "almost" a bolt in swap for the G1. The mounting holes are a little off so you have to drill new holes. The secondary clutch will be a little farther to the passenger side so you'll have to make arrangements for that with the engine mount. Brake cables will swap over easily. You can even use the G1 secondary clutch it'll work fine with a 4 cycle engine.
