Default Yamaha AC cart with Navitas 600amp controller PROBLEM

Was going for a drive with the wife and son. While going up a big hill the cart slowed down to a craw. Then ran slow all the way home about 1 mile. I have a volt meter on the batteries and reading was 44.6 when throttle pressed. Batteries had been charged 2 days before and driven maybe 10 miles. Trojan batteries are around 1 1/2 years old. Could it be the solenoid? Still on the original one from 2016. Does it need the 600 amp one?

Solenoid isn't likely your problem as it basically is a switch to put power to your cart. If you have a 48V cart, 44.6V is dangerously low. You shouldn't go below 48.4v if you want to avoid damaging your batteries.

Sounds like either bad batteries or batteries in a discharged condition.
