Can I put a switch on the horn so I can turn it off when we are using the cart for deer hunting? Thanks Brian

Re: 96 dsc backup horn ?
I have to do this...It is highly recommended that the reverse buzzer always be left intact and operational. This is for your safety as well as those around you. Accidental reverse movement could result in body injury and /or death. BGW nor myself will be responsible for any loss or injury caused by such modification.
Yes you can. I suggest you try covering it with tape first and see if it's acceptable. Plug it with cotton and then tape it... I would need to know the year to tell you the best way. Depends on where you want the switch...You can usually just take one wire off the buzzer and put it back when you're done. Or, run a switch in series with one of the beeper wires. Mosts model can be installed in the dash also. Be very careful and don't allow anyone else to operate when off. It's a huge liability issue.Good luck! |
