EZGo won't accelerate
Hi all,
I'm a mechanically challenged newbie here that could use your help! I have a late 70's ezgo that had been running fine. Now, it will start and idle with no problem, but after a couple of minutes will not accelerate past idle regardless of carb adjustments. Here's what I have done to this point: 1), adjusted cables, 2) cleaned carb, 3) checked fuel pump....which appears to be working, but then again, I'm not sure at what rate it should pump. So my questions: what are the various problems it could be, and what's my next move(s)? Any and all help is appreciated! By the way, I know nothing about the brand of motor, hp, etc... I would be interested in this info as well. Thanks! |

Re: EZGo won't accelerate
Sounds to me like it's not running at all, just starter turning it over that sounds like running. Is the exhaust hot?
Two things you need for sure, spark and gas to the carb. |
