1985 EZGO Oil Injector ?'s
Hello my name is Dennis and I just bought a 1985 E-Z-GO Gas Golf Cart. I see in some of the other threads that people just removed the Oil Injector system on these Carts. My oil line from the tank to what I believe is the injector. Then there is a steel cable ( like a choke cable) runs up to the carb. At this point the cable was cut not brock but cut a long time ago. I assume tis was there to regulate the amount of oil to gas. The mechanic that worked on it for years said he had never notice it before. The Cart seems to runs run fine and might be a little strong on the oil smell. My question is this now getting the full amount of oil to gas all the time in stead of being regulated? I intend to remove this system but it has an almost full tank I don't know the the gas has been treated. When empty I will remove oil system. Does the engine have a serial Number on it? I'm going to try a put a picture with this. Thanks Dennis
