Put the voltmeter on the battery pack note the voltage. Now put the cart in gear and try to go while watching the voltmeter. Did the pack voltage drop?

OK I charged batteries and check voltage with key off and got same as I got with key on and pressing the gas pedal. Now the reverse buzzer does not sound but the motor now hums. The cart still will not move. The bottom of the v glide is broke and when you shift it it does not go all the way down. The previous owner made a homemade bracket and drilled holes in it to secure it to the cart. You can push it the rest of the way down what should I do.

The gas pedal works it. I just have to hold v glide in place with my hand. If I don't hold it in place it doesn't go all the way I have to push it with my finger.

I will try that thanks. Sorry I have never worked on a golf cart before. I am doing this so my husband doesn't have to on his one day off a week. My nephew wants it for when we go camping and he has no legs so he can't ride bikes and stuff like the others do. Please be patient with me. I appreciate all of the help I have received. Anyone have any ideas where to buy one.

It's OK. I didn't take it that way. I just assumed you have a great sense of humor. I say that phrase all of the time. Would it be best to buy the entire thing or just that. Would it be hard to change the arm and other stuff to new one. And I really do appreciate all of the help I have been getting. The motor now hums where before it didn't so I must be making some progress. Lol
