New member with new cart...
Hello. I just purchased a 2016 Precedent. I was told that the batteries are a year old but after doing some research and observation I’m wondering if they are original.
The batteries are PD plus and on the top there is a sticker that says K5 which seems to me like it would mean 2015. Can anyone with the same brand confirm the sticker system? I know it’s common for most brands but I just want to be sure. Thanks!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, that would be November 2015. Check all 6 to make sure that ere is not just one (1) odd one.

Thanks. Go Noles BTW. I grew up off tville rd. I’m getting a little over 5 miles to a charge after trying my first range test today and stopping at 48.9 using digital meter I installed today. Full charge read 50.9. I guess I got taken for a ride! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: New member with new cart...
The best way to check the full charge capability is to wait 12 hours after the completion of the full charge. 50.9v is 100% SOC.
But run-time is the most important as long as there is not one bad battery pulling down the pack. |

5 miles isn’t going to cut it where I live. I guess I’ll get the batteries individually tested

Re: New member with new cart...
While it would be good to confirm if its a single battery or the entire pack, but at 4 years old it does not make sense to replace just one or two unless you can find some used batteries of the same amp hours... Your better off replacing the entire pack...

Re: New member with new cart...
What is the typical life for a pack of batteries for the recreational user driving their cart 5-10 miles a week?

Re: New member with new cart...
It really depends on how well you maintained your batteries. What I mean by this is never let water level get low and charge your batteries after every use or at end of day. They should then last 5 to 6 years. Some of our members have lasted quite a bit longer. On the other hand abused batteries can fail within a year.

So do you guys all concur that PD Plus batteries in a 2016 Club Car and a sticker on each reading "K5" would indicate factory batteries?
I just want to be sure before I get angry at some people. haha. |
