DS rebuild update
As a refresher, I bought my first cart this past September a total project 98' DS. Started tearing it apart and researching and asking a lot of questions here. Ok, then my journey took a turn. I fell into a package deal of three carts from an apartment complex near me. 2 Yamaha G22's and an EzGo TXT. I decided I wanted to work on one of the Yamaha's first to end up selling it and clearing some space. With 4 carts, my backyard looked like a golf cart grave yard. Anyway, I have pretty much finished one of the Yamaha carts. All 3 carts had batteries that were bone dry and dead when I got them but 2 were reported to have been running carts when taken out of service. I got this Yamaha up and running and the batteries seem to be doing OK. While I know this is not a Club Car, it is part of my Club Car project so to speak. New paint, new seats ( I love Up 2 Par covers), Raptor liner on the roof. Used hubcaps and a new hood emblem and a lot of time and labor but I think it turned out pretty good. The before shot here is actually the other Yamaha but the finished one was in similar (slightly better) shape at the start. Surprisingly, while these carts are beat to crap cosmetically, they were very clean underneath with virtually no rust to speak of. If I sell this one for a reasonable price. I will have zero $ in the remaining three carts. On to the next one

It’s always good to pay for multiple carts with one. Looks great [emoji1303]

Re: DS rebuild update
I used an Acrylic Enamel automotive paint from the Restoration Shop/TCP Global. Relatively inexpensive and the quality seems good to me. Wide variety of colors and can get it in quarts. I also clear coat it as well. Not required but I like the look with clear coat.
