PS. I have an old beater 1999 cc 48 series cart all three tests returned the same volt readings ???? Just thought I'd add that. Thanks for all the responses. I really appreciate it. Can't wait to figure this out so I can go cruising again...... On my souped up cart!!! ???

A voltage drop in the battery pack of 10v under load would indicate possibly, at least one bad battery.
Connect the meter to each individual battery and redo the test for each one, see if one or two don't drop off badly?

None drop more than a volt or two. They are brand new batteries. What does the B+ and M- test determine? It only tested 23 volts and my old beater tested 48.volts.

Controller output

A battery that drops 2v under load usually has a bad cell. Like a 6v battery that drops to 4v.

ok theres the issue, if that battery pack is dropping like that the cart isn,t going to run and if the batteries are each dropping a volt or 2 take them back and get another set theres no reason for all of them to drop like that other than being bad..............................

Correction on the batt readings. I was trying to post from mememory as I was on the lake when I posted.... Sorry bout that. New batt fully charged- 51.5v. Pack drops to 47.8 under load. Each battery was 8.4v and none dropped below 7.9v. Any other ideas?? Thanks.
