Default Backyard frameshop

I recently purchased a 2002 E Z go PDS with front end damage, SEE PIC ,I rigged up a come along with sign post, bolted to frame to pull it back into shape,Note I cut a small slice out of curve(I could have heated it ,if I had a torch), After pulling it into place reinforced with flat iron....

Another " Red Green " fix!
Seriously though, be careful! there's a lot of pressure there if something decides to let go! I've used comealongs for presses and all kinds of stuff. They're a really useful tool!

Weird thing about this damage was it only pushed back front end about 1.5 inches,it actually only hit on the top post(where it bolts to frame)didn't even damage the front cowl,,must have been hell of a hit thou, these things are built like a tank! I tried to tie it to a tree and backed up real fast, but that almost gave me whiplash !!! This comealong technique worked great, maybe it will help others, but do be careful...Thanks BGW I get a lot of Great info from here............
