There's a guy that does a lot of cart refurbishing down in the Modesto area, says he's getting in some '13 RXV's that will be around $2500. I'll keep an eye out for those maybe.

Don't under estimate this part. I have an RXV that I love. its strong, its fast, but man do I have issues mainly with the charging. I don't know how much in the charging system is different than a TXT or if I just have a haunted cart.

Just a thought. For what you want to do have you considered a gas cart?

We like the serenity quiet of electric. It gets driven once a day for the most part, driving it around the farm to pick up manure with a manure spreader trailer. It maybe see 1/3 of a mile a day, then it's plugged in again (maybe every other day it's charged). I know the gas ones cycle on and off and are pretty quiet, but it's a big thing for my wife, she likes that quiet :-)

How heavy do you expect this trailer to max at? Is it a job for a golf cart..... And for max battery life, you should modify that charging plan to "charged at the end of every day that it is used".

Curious. What kind of farm is quiet? Around here unless you are doing absolutely nothing productive there is always something running or at least fans always running in the barn. Also please show us your work cart! There is even a thread dedicated to them!

Yea, I try to get her to charge it every time, that's what we've discussed, but it doesn't always happen :-)

We've been using our current 1999 EZ-GO TXT to do this same job for 7 years now, it's held up well I think. Replaced the batteries and rebuilt everything a few years back, I think it can go for quite a while longer, but want to be prepared if the timing is right to switch it out.

Trailer itself is about 400 lbs and it can get a few hundred lbs of manure on it. I'm pretty impressed with how well it does :-)
