Can I use different gauge battery cables!
I bought a set of battery cables for my car that were four gauge. Two of them are too short to use so I was curious if I could use some of the six gauge battery cables that I have. And a input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The whole system is limited by its weakest cable, so while you could probably do it, it's no upgrade at all. Also, avoid this type cable. The ends are lame for golf carts (they compress & don't hold torque, also suck up acid like a sponge).

awesome. thanks for the response. it'll be a quick fix till i guess i can order another set of new ones. frustrating that i ordered what I'm sure said marathon battery cable set. only thing I'm thinking now is that maybe the way i have the batteries set in there is wrong and may need rotated.
