Does not run after washing.
We have a 2012 48 volt EZGO Express S4.
When we rinse the floor off after a day at the beach it will not run. I have changed out the micro switch under the floor mat and did not help. |

Re: Does not run after washing.
I'm just a repeater of things ive read here, and am not familiar with the s4, but I've seen plenty of posts of a buggy being no go after getting the pedal/throttle box wet. I know you said you changed the micro switch. Did you confirm it was bad, or just replace it? Also, is the box completely dry. It sounds like the smart guys use hair dryers or leaf blowers.

Re: Does not run after washing.
Drying always fixed mine, though I try not to get any water in the throttle box. I never tested whether it was the MS or the ITS. I either used a ShopVac or a leaf blower, depending on which one was closest. Then let the sun and wind do their jobs.
Did you also clean out the battery area? Could be the MSs on the FNR (if a series), controller/connector, and/or the 4 wire Molex connector that connects the throttle MS and ITS to the wiring harness. |
